Following the broadcast of the BBC Wildlife documentary 'Wild Burma', we have put together a specialist adventure tour taking in the very best wildlife opportunities currently available in Myanmar. The trip includes numerous birdwatching excursions throughout, a day learning to be a mahout at an elephant conservation project, a chartered boat trip to witness the extraordinary co-operative fishing technique shared between villagers and river dolphins, and a trek through the mountainous Chin state to Nat Ma Taung - the highest mountain in Western Burma. This latter trip will also provide unrivalled bird, animal, and plant-spotting as well as visits to local villages to encounter the unique cultures of the Chin tribes and their tattooed ladies. All of the destinations included in this tour are at present open to foreign travel, and represent the best and most varied wildlife experiences currently permitted in this vastly undiscovered country.
