Holidays to the Philippines
With 7107 islands it is little wonder that the Philippines are often regarded as Asia's hottest beach destination. However whilst it is true the Philippines does offer myriad long, white sandy beaches and legendary beach resorts like Boracay, these wonderful islands offer a great deal more to those travellers who are prepared to dig a bit deeper. Our holidays to the Philippines offer you the chance to see an immense variety of marine and bird life, rare and exotic flora and fauna and some amazing natural wonders. Your tour of the Philippines could include a visit to the UNESCO protected rice terraces carved from the high Cordilleras over 2,000 years ago or perhaps a chance to see the striking landscape of Bohol as you look out over 1,268 ‘Chocolate Hills’. Alternatively you might prefer a trek up Mount Pinatubo or a visit to Taal Volcano, the world’s smallest volcano. Other possible experiences include hiking through charming hillside villages, a kayaking ‘safari’ amongst tropical islands, whale watching in the Visayas or bird watching on the ‘last frontier’ of Palawan.
Of course an introduction to the Philippines wouldn’t be complete with out mentioning the incredible diving and snorkelling, which is world renowned, and the enormous variety of other water based activities available on your visit to these stunning islands.
This really is one of the finest holiday destinations in Asia and if you are looking for somewhere new to visit then we would highly recommend a tour of the Philippines. With excellent natural and cultural sightseeing, great beaches and very friendly locals - what more could you want?
