Rimba Lodge
Accessible only by boat from the port of Kumai, the riverside Rimba Lodge is just a few minutes by boat from the orangutan feeding station at Pondok Tangui and is mid-way upstream to Camp Leakey. The Lodge's jetty leads on to a series of covered boardwalks which connects to all guest rooms, the reception area and restaurant. The Lodge provides a comfortable base from which to explore the surrounding rainforest and Tanjung Puting National Park.

Although the rooms are simple this is the best jungle lodge available, with a stunning location and the best wildlife guides in the park.
