Once a rural workshop producing tiles for Beijing's temples, The Brickyard Inn has been lovingly converted into an eco-retreat set in beautiful countryside. The hotel has 25 rooms in the main building, and 9 'homes' located in the surrounding villages. All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and many offer terraces with views of the Great Wall of China. The lodge is surrounded by landscaped gardens and has a central lodge with a fireplace and cafe serving hearty breakfasts. Other facilities include a Spa, outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, tennis court and fitness centre. There is a restaurant of the same owners serving dinner located in an adjacent stone farmhouse.
